​Sit Stay Play QLD's Dog Trainer De, specialises in reactive dog training, offering tailored solutions for dogs struggling with fear, anxiety, or aggression towards people, animals, or stimuli in their environment. Our experienced trainers understand the unique challenges faced by reactive dogs and their owners, and we're dedicated to providing compassionate and effective training methods to help them overcome these obstacles. Using positive reinforcement techniques and behaviour modification strategies, we work closely with both dogs and their owners to build confidence, reduce reactivity, and improve overall behaviour. Our personalised approach ensures that each training plan is tailored to the specific needs and goals of the dog and their family, fostering trust, communication, and lasting positive change. Assistance and therapy dog and/or cat training​

We offer assistance with training dog/s and/or cat/s who will be service animals/pets. Our training ethos is very much the same as our one to one sessions, they are rooted in fear and force free training. Our belief is that if an animal will be assisting a human then they should not feel fear or pain doing so. Enquire today about booking a session, we would suggest booking a 'Dog Training' session initially so that we can go through what you need and what your dog/cat/pet/animal needs to qualify.

We also provide PUBLIC ACCESS TEST for working dog/s and/or cat/s - therapy dog and/or cat, assistance dog and/or cat, working dog and/or cat.

Classes that we offer

​​

PUPPY CLASSES - now booking! Age limit is 8 weeks to 16 weeks, older if the puppy is small e.g. chihuahua, mini poodle.

Dog training classes - now booking! Any age limit, brush up on your skills or learn new ones for when you are Out & About! Great for fully vaccinated puppies, teenage dogs, rescue dogs, newly adopted dogs, and dogs who need a refreshhhhhhhhhhh.

'Nosey Work' Scent Nose work training classes - now booking! Curious about activating your dogs strongest organ? If yes then jump on into a class. We have taste tester classes if you're not completely sure. These sessions are fun, functional, force free and really built on building the handlers and dogs confidence. We have seen amazing transformations in short amounts of time such as fear related behaviours, enthusiasm, and bonding with handler/owner/guardian.

Our one on one sessions 

We pride ourselves on our ability to address a wide range of problem behaviours that dog owners may experience. Whether it's excessive barking, recall (returning when called), jumping, leash pulling, separation anxiety, or aggression, our team of experienced trainers are equipped to help. We understand that every dog is unique, and behaviour problems can stem from various factors, including genetics, past experiences, and environmental triggers. That's why we take a personalised approach to training, working closely with each dog and their owner to understand the root causes of the behaviour and develop effective solutions. Using positive reinforcement techniques, patience, and expertise, we empower owners to communicate effectively with their dogs and shape desirable behaviours. With Sit Stay Play QLD, no problem is too big or too small – we're here to support you and your furry friend every step of the way on your journey to a harmonious and fulfilling relationship.​​​​

• Our sessions run for an hour and can be held in the comfort of your home or an agreed location.

• We offer single sessions or a three-session package.  

• We encourage owners to book all sessions 2-weeks apart to provide the opportunity to practice and refine the training.
