WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT WORKING WITH THE PETS OF BRISBANE?
There is so much to like/love/adore but the biggest 'thing' of them all is seeing the regular dogs/cats client's eyes light up when they see me coming. The wiggly bodies and happy vocalization just makes my heart sing!

IF YOU COULD HAVE ANY PET, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
A magpie! *imitates magpie songs* Because they are smart and I want them to sing to me.
WHAT IS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE EMBARRASSING CHILDHOOD STORY?
During lunch time at primary school I was stung by a bee on my face. I was rushed to the first aid room, they applied white paint like stuff on my face to ease the stinging pain. After lunch we had voting for Sports Captain and I got up for nomination HOWEVER no-one voted for me because of my swollen, white and funny looking face.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT WORKING WITH THE PETS OF BRISBANE?
I love the pure joy & excitement of dogs running towards me when I arrive, eagerly awaiting their walks, play, enrichment & training (and yes, cuddles). I know I've done my job when they're contently snoozing/resting when I leave, waiting patiently for their pawrents return.

WHAT IS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE EMBARRASSING CHILDHOOD STORY?
As a child I had a very strong view on what's right and wrong, delaying my parents significantly while on holidays because I insisted on waiting for every pedestrian traffic light to turn green before crossing the road. The street were completely empty but I refused to jaywalk.

My favourite part is meeting a variety of different pets while learning all their different quirks and personalities. I also enjoy learning ways to improve the lives of Brisbane's pets while using force free training techniques to help with behaviour management.

IF YOU COULD HAVE ANY PET, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Hypothetically I would love to on a Capuchin monkey as they are one of the most intelligent and trainable new world monkeys. Since monkeys are not legal in Australia, I have a small dog named Gizmo who is trained to sit on my shoulders - pretty handy!
WHAT IS YOUR MOST MEMORABLE EMBARRASSING CHILDHOOD STORY?
My most embarrassing childhood moment would have to be the time I was caught licking the windows in second grade, claiming I was 'cleaning' them for the teacher.

Once upon a time in sunny Brisbane, a clever soul named Dejana (or De for short) decided to turn her pet-passion into a business bonanza! Picture this: It's 2011, De is juggling textbooks and dreams of becoming the ultimate animal whisperer. What's a uni student to do? Pet sitting, of course!
Enter the lovable critters of Brisbane, who became De's partners-in-pet-crime. With furballs galore, De embarked on a wild adventure of animal antics and fuzzy cuddles. And guess what? The adventure just kept getting better!
Fast forward to today, and Sit Stay Play isn't just a business—it's a pawsitively awesome journey. There's De, our fearless leader, pet guru, and overall fur-tastic entrepreneur. But that's not all! We've got a whole squad of pet-spoiling experts, enter Annabelle and Dale! They are anything from pet sitters to dog walkers, all united by a common goal: making pets' tails wag and hearts melt.
